AMACO’s Ceramic Education Consultant & Teacher is joining us from Florida to present this exciting full day workshop for the members of the Nevada Clay Guild and other interested ceramic artists in our valley. This all day seminar will be limited to the first 40 paid participants.
Join us to learn how to print on clay with Velvet Underglaze Inks. During this hands-on workshop we will print on moist clay slabs and also discuss how this can be accomplished on wheel thrown forms. Silkscreens will be provided for the workshop, and you will also learn how to make your own. Demonstrations will include making and using newsprint transfers and other materials to make interesting prints on clay. Attendees will create their own screen print artistry on the clay slabs provided and can take these to their own studio for firing after the workshop.
